Families, Couples, Children & Group Travel Cover

Travelling as a family can be an expense, but the travel insurance doesn’t need to be so. In surveys Travel Insured consistently offer higher cover for lower premium than most travel agents and banks.

Our family rates apply to up to 2 adults living together with all their children under 18 included, So having a large family does not increase your premiums. We also recognise that it is not unusual to take friends of your children away with you, as such if you are travelling as a family on a single booking your children’s friends can be included on your policy as if they were your own – at no extra cost!

Infants under 2 years old are covered free of charge.

Couples

If you tend to travel with your spouse, partner or just a good friend then it pays to take a couple’s policy. Typically an annual policy for a couple is at least a third cheaper than 2 singles, plus it means that if there is a claim you are only dealing with one insurance company.

Now having a couple’s policy does not preclude you travelling independently of each other occasionally, as long as you usually travel together.

Lone Child

You may have found it difficult to get cover for your child travelling on their own. At Travel Insured we have no such restrictions. No doubt you will have made the best arrangements for your child and, of course, the airlines all take special care of lone child travellers. Whatever the age of your child, we can offer cover for them travelling without being accompanied by an adult. However the child discount does not apply – sorry.

Groups

Are you responsible for arranging group travel, maybe for a school, youth club, even just a large family gathering? We can help and if the total number in your party is 20 or more we’ll give a 10% discount. Please note, we will need the names of all travellers as per their passports along with their dates of birth. This cover is only suitable for single trip policies and not annual cover.
